Does Switchbooks do invoicing?

No. Switchbooks does not send invoices or track what customers owe you (accounts receivable), and it has no bill pay.
What it does is book the money once it moves. When a customer pays and the deposit lands in your bank, Switch files it to the right revenue account. Keep sending invoices from the tool you use today, and let Switchbooks keep the books from the bank side.
That also means Switchbooks keeps books on a cash basis. If your CPA wants receivables on the balance sheet at year end, Switch can book them as a journal entry.
If you need invoicing inside your accounting software, QuickBooks Online or Wave may suit you better, and I would rather you know that up front. There is a side by side in QuickBooks alternatives.
