How long does setup take?
Sign up and connect your bank accounts in a few minutes. Switching from QuickBooks Online adds three CSV exports, which Switchbooks previews before importing.
What are my payment options?
You pay monthly, per company, by card. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. There is no annual plan.
Are there any transaction limits?
No limits. You can import and process as many transactions as you need. Whether you have 10 transactions or 10,000 per month, the price stays the same at $25/month.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. There are no long-term contracts or cancellation fees. Access continues to the end of the paid month; after that the company is locked, with its books kept, until someone subscribes again.
Can I manage multiple companies?
Yes! You can manage multiple companies in Switchbooks. Each company is $25/month, and consolidated reporting is included at no additional charge. Perfect for accountants managing multiple clients or business owners with multiple entities.
Can I import data from QuickBooks or other software?
Yes. Switchbooks imports your QuickBooks Online vendors, chart of accounts and journal history from three CSV exports, with a preview first. Transactions from other software come in as CSV, Excel, PDF or OFX files.
How does Switchbooks use my data?
We process your financial data to provide and secure Switchbooks, using service providers where needed to operate features such as bank connections and payments. See our Privacy Policy for details. Your data belongs to you, and you can export it.
Do you offer accountant/client access?
Yes. Invite your accountant with the Accountant role. Accountants see every client company in a Firm section of their company list, can add their own staff and choose which companies each person sees, and keep private notes on each client.
