The AI bookkeeping agent that does your books.

Meet Elliott. He categorizes and posts your bank transactions, matches transfers, reconciles accounts and keeps your reports current. Tell him what you want in plain English.

What Elliott does

The work a bookkeeper does every month, done when you ask.

Categorizes and posts

He picks the most specific category your history and the description support, posts the rows, and lists the ones he was least sure about.

Matches transfers

Moves between checking, savings and credit cards are matched as transfers, so nothing counts twice.

Reconciles accounts

Attach a bank statement and he reconciles the account to it, with a preview before anything is finished.

Books journal entries

Payroll registers, loan payments and your accountant's adjustments, booked from the schedule you give him.

Makes rules

Tell him once how a vendor should be filed and he makes a rule, so the next one files itself.

Answers questions

Ask why net income dropped or what you spent on software. He answers from your books, or hands you a P&L, Balance Sheet or Cash Flow.

Read how to work with Elliott

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Connect your bank

Link your accounts through Plaid, or import your QuickBooks Online history.

  2. Step 2

    Tell Elliott what you want

"Do my accounting" is enough. He works through To Review, matches transfers, reconciles and tells you what he changed.

  3. Step 3

    Check in when you like

Turn on the weekly books check and he reviews the books once a week, leaving a short note only when something is new.

You stay in control

Previews before anything big

Reconciliations and opening balances show a preview first. Deleting or merging waits for you to type yes.

Undo anything he did

Ask what he changed today and undo any of it. Unposting returns a transaction to To Review.

He asks when it matters

When a row could go two ways and a wrong answer would be expensive, he stops and asks instead of guessing.

Your accountant sees everything

Accountants get their own login to review the books, and Elliott follows the notes they pin on how the books are kept.

Frequently asked questions

What is an AI bookkeeping agent?

Software that does the bookkeeping instead of handing you tools to do it yourself. In Switchbooks the agent is named Elliott. He categorizes and posts your bank transactions, matches transfers, reconciles accounts and keeps your financial reports current. You talk to him in plain English, the way you would talk to a bookkeeper.

Does Elliott replace my bookkeeper or accountant?

He does the day-to-day bookkeeping: categorizing, posting, matching and reconciling. Your accountant can still log in with their own access, review everything he did, and handle taxes and advice. Elliott does not file taxes, run payroll, send invoices or move money.

Will the agent change my books without asking?

When you ask for something, he does it and tells you what he changed. Anything hard to reverse, like a reconciliation or an opening balance, shows a preview first, and deleting or merging waits for you to type yes. On the weekly books check he only does work that can be undone.

Can I undo what the agent did?

Yes. Ask what he changed today and he lists it. Ask him to undo any of it and he reverses it through the same steps the app uses. Unposting returns a transaction to To Review.

What happens when the agent is not sure?

When nothing fits he uses Uncategorized rather than guessing, and he lists the rows he was least sure about so you can fix them in one pass. When something could go two ways and a wrong answer would be expensive, he stops and asks you.

How does the agent learn my books?

He reads your posted history before deciding and follows the notes you pin about how your books are kept. When you correct a row, he can make a rule so the next one files itself.

Can I use the agent from Claude, Cursor or Grok Bot?

Yes. Connect Switchbooks to Claude, Cursor or Grok Bot and the same bookkeeping tools work from that chat.

How much does the AI bookkeeping agent cost?

$25 a month per company, with every feature included. The agent is part of the plan, not an add-on.

Your books, done.
