Can I use Switchbooks without connecting my bank?

Yes. You can import CSV, Excel, PDF or OFX files from your bank instead, and Elliott works through them the same way he works through a live feed.

The bank connection is better, because it keeps the books current without you doing anything and it lets Elliott see both sides of a transfer. But plenty of people start with files and connect later, and nothing is lost when they do.
