Tell him. "That Amazon charge was equipment, not supplies." He fixes the row, and if you want it to stick, he makes a rule so the same vendor lands right next time.
Every change Elliott makes is recorded, so "undo that" works too. The books are never stuck with his first guess, and the correction becomes part of how he handles that vendor from then on.
